Lions Club of Coventry Godiva is part of the International Association of Lions Clubs which is the largest service organisation in the world with a membership of 1.4 million spread serving over 200 countries and geographic areas.
Our club was formed in May 1994 by a group of 20 members with the foremost objective of getting together and raising funds for local and international causes.
We are a registered Charity and all the Godiva Lions members give their time on a voluntary basis.
Over the years, the club has gone from strength to strength, and is one of the most active and successful in the Lions District 105M.
Since the formation of our club, we’ve made and continue to make donations to various causes, assisting with the needs of children, the sick, the elderly, and the homeless. We’ve been involved with various health initiatives, provided relief aid from major disasters around the world, and more recently helped our local communities in various ways during the Covid-19 pandemic.
