OUR STORY

The Lions Club of Coventry Godiva proudly stands as a chapter of the International Association of Lions Clubs, the world's largest service organization boasting a membership of 1.4 million, extending its reach across over 200 countries and regions.

Incepted in May 1994 by a pioneering group of 20, our club's primary mission was to rally together, pooling resources for local and international philanthropic ventures. Recognized as a registered charity, every Godiva Lions member contributes their time purely out of goodwill and commitment.

Over the years, the club has gone from strength to strength, and is one of the most active and successful in the Lions District 105M.

We've consistently championed a diverse range of causes, from assisting children and the elderly to offering support to the infirm and providing shelter for the homeless. Our contributions range from leading health initiatives to swiftly responding with aid during global emergencies. We have made many donations to organisations in the UK and abroad.

Our members convene on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm to discuss the club agenda and chart the course forward.
